Prestige Club of Nigeria, in its June 2024 general meeting held on 09/06/2024 at the residence of Prestigian Olanipekun Segun in Jeddo, elected new executives to run the affairs of the club for the next 2 years. To effect this, an electoral body was appointed, chaired by Prince Prestigian Val Oribhabor with Chief Prestigian Kenneth Nwaomucha as the secretary. The INEC chairman informed the house that two systems would be used to conduct the election: (1) asking interested members to signify and explain why they should be allowed to be president, and (2) calling for nominations if no one signified.
Prestigian Afi Titus raised his hand and was allowed to take the floor. No other member showed interest in leading the club, and therefore Prestigian Afi Titus was returned unopposed. The rest of the offices were filled by nomination. The new executives declared by the electoral chairman, Prestigian Val Oribhabor, are as follows:
- President: Afi Titus
- Vice President: Pius Evbuomwan
- Secretary: Olanipekun Segun
- Assistant Secretary: Isimite Anthony
- Financial Secretary: Afolabi Dele
- Treasurer: Jasper Oki
- PRO: Enakpoya G.O.
- Provost: Alex Amudo
The new executives were sworn in immediately by Elder Obire P.E.R.
The new president, Prestigian Afi Titus, promised to give the club a facelift by:
- Ensuring the club has a clubhouse, putting machinery in motion immediately by appointing a committee, committing members to contribute an agreed amount yearly towards the realization of the building, and arranging for the launching to facilitate the project.
- Working on the finance department and the secretariat department to make them functional.
He appreciated the outgoing president, Dr. Prestigian Brown Ogbeifun, and all the past executives. He promised to build on the performance of the past executives. The next host is the new president, Prestigian Afi Titus. Closing prayer was led by Chief Kenneth Nwaomucha at 5:00 PM.
