The Prestige Club of Nigeria holds her first meeting of the year 2024 at the residence of the President of the Club Prestigian Brown Ogbeifun at Bendel Estate, Warri today Sunday 11th February, 2024. The Opening Prayer was said by the former President of the Club, Chief Prestigian P.E.R. Obire at 1300 hours. The President distributed the club’s Statement of Account for members to go through and indicates wherever they made payment for accounting purposes.
Highlights of the day’s business:
1) Constitutional Review.
The Chairman of Constitutional Review Committee Chief Prestigian Obire reported that the Constitution was ready but he did not reach home before coming to the meeting. He was asked to ensure the soft copy is put in the Club Whatsapp after he might have done his correction.
2) End of year party. The End of Year party that ought to have held today was earlier on postponed due to ill preparation. Later agreed that the party will now hold between April and June, 2024 before the expiration of the present Executives.
3) Prestigian Afi Titus who lost his father recently invited the Club for burial coming up on Saturday 24th February, 2024 at Ogoja, Cross River State. Prince Babs Adeleye volunteered to be present at the ceremony.
4) Prince Babs Adeleye appreciated Prestigian Pius Evbuomwan for saving his life during the burial of his mother in Lagos for what would have resulted in a very urgly situation that he never bargained for. He also thank the President and members of Prestige Club for standing by him throughout the burial period in Lagos.
