Prestige Club of Nigeria, Warri held her yearly get-together ceremony at the residence of the club’s President, Prestigian Dr. Brown Ogbeifun on Sunday, 5th May 2024. The event took place under very good atmospheric conditions starting from 1.0pm till 6.30pm. Members and their spouses were in attendance, as well as some invited guests.
Welcome Address by the President: Prestigian Dr. Brown Ogbeifun welcomed members and their spouses to the occasion. He thanked God for sparing the lives of members and their families from last year to this day.
The Public Relation Officer, Elder Prestigian Ola Johnson, who stood as the MC, said the occasion is to give thanks to God Almighty for His protection, love, mercies, and kindness we enjoyed throughout the year 2023 and for the year 2024.
We had a lot to drink and eat to the satisfaction of everyone. Having taken the first course, the spouses were asked to take their main menu and then the men followed. Thereafter was dance, dance, dance led by the club’s Vice President, High Chief Prestigian Moses Uparan JP.
Presentation of Gifts to Our Spouses: High Chief Prestigian P.E.R Obire, Prince Babs Adeleye, VP High Chief Prestigian Moses Uparan JP, High Chief Kenneth Nwaomucha, and High Chief Barrister Enakpoya did the presentation.
Response from the Women: Prestigian Mrs. Sadoh appreciated the club on behalf of the women. She said they are very much delighted for the yearly get together and gifts from the men. She said God willing, by next year Valentine’s Day, the women should reciprocate to host the men in their little way to show that they valued their men.
Vote of Thanks: Elder Prestigian Ola Johnson, the club’s PRO, who gave the vote of thanks on behalf of the Welfare Committee Chairman, Prestigian Louis Obukowho, thanked members and their spouses for the impressive turnout, wishing everyone a safe return to their various homes.
