The Prestige Club of Nigeria held its May 2025 General Meeting on Sunday, May 11th, at the residence of Prestigian Andrew Atikpo, located off Onota Street, off CAC Road, Orhunwhorun Town.
The well-attended gathering covered several key agenda items critical to the club’s continued unity and social commitment. Below are the highlights:
- 2025 End-of-Year Party
Members unanimously agreed on a contribution of ₦50,000 each towards the forthcoming end-of-year celebration. Plans for the event are already underway. - Condolence Visit
The President expressed deep gratitude to members who attended the burial of the father-in-law of the club’s Vice President, Prestigian Pius Evbuomwan, held in Otuo, Edo State on Friday, May 9th. While a larger attendance was originally planned, only three members were able to attend following advice from the VP due to unforeseen circumstances. - Spouses’ Get-Together
Members were advised to take invitations from their wives seriously. The club noted the low turnout at the recent women’s get-together at the NNPC Senior Staff Club, which was attributed to poor communication. Going forward, better coordination and early information sharing were recommended. - Hospitality by the Host
Prestigian Andrew Atikpo was lauded for his warm hospitality, having generously entertained the club with plenty of food and drinks. - Plate Wash Tradition
As part of the club’s tradition, the “plate wash” was respectfully handed over to the host’s wife in appreciation. - Prayer and Blessings
Prestigian Val Oribhabor offered heartfelt prayers for the host and his wife, acknowledging their generosity. - Revised Monthly Dues
Effective June 2025, the club’s monthly dues will now be ₦2,000 per member. - Closing Prayer
The meeting concluded with a closing prayer led by Prestigian Kenneth Nwaomucha. - Next Meeting Host
The June 2025 general meeting will be hosted by Prestigian P.E.R. Obire.
Long live Prestige Club of Nigeria. God bless Prestige.
