Nigerians have been urged to always be kind hearted to the less privileged members of the society in the spirit of love and oneness.
This charge was given during the visit by members of the Prestige Club to the Heart of Delta Children’s Home, Ekpan in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State.
A representative of the President of Prestige Club, Babatunde Adeleye, who spoke, said that it was important that the inmates felt good and healthy like others in the society, and have the opportunities as everyone, whether wealthy or not Adeleye noted that it was decided by the club that part of their financial resources should go to the children at the Heart of Delta Children’s Home.
“It is important that we start to make these children feel good and happy”, Adeleye said emphatically.
“Children who have no one to provide for them, we just looked at it as Prestige Club of Nigeria that it is important we do this to alleviate their lacks”.
“We agreed that part of the club’s resources should be committed to make this donation possible”, he said.
Items donated by the Prestige Club of Nigeria are bags of rice, cartons of noddle, tubers of yam, toiletries, cooking oil amongst others.
